What Aletheore is
Aletheore is a repository audit tool: an open source, local-first CLI under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, and paid GitHub App tiers for automated PR reviews, managed audits, Slack/Teams alerts, branch-protection Check Runs, and endpoint health monitoring. The AGPL applies to the CLI source code. Anyone who cannot accept its terms, for example to embed Aletheore in a closed-source product or run a modified version as a service without publishing it, can buy a separate commercial license (see COMMERCIAL-LICENSE.md). A paid GitHub App tier does not include a commercial license for the CLI source.
The paid subscriptions
Two paid plans: Aletheore Flash ($10/month, monthly billing only) and Aletheore AIR ($29.99/month or $299.90/year, up to 3 team members, with additional members beyond the plan's included seats billed at $6.99/month each). See Pricing for full plan details. Subscriptions are billed and processed by our payment provider, Paddle, acting as merchant of record. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's own terms of service in addition to these.
AI credit top-ups
Paid subscribers can buy extra AI credit at any time from the dashboard. Credit costs $1.15 per $1.00 of credit: the extra $0.15 is a service charge that covers payment processing. Tax is added at checkout where it applies. Purchased credit does not expire. Credit that has already been used cannot be returned, and refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You may not use Aletheore to scan repositories you do not have the right to scan, or to circumvent security measures of systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
No warranty
Aletheore is provided as-is. The deterministic scanner is unit-tested and evidence-grounded, but no software is guaranteed to catch every issue in every repository.
